dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio permite conocer la percepción del soporte social en padres y madres con hijos e hijas con discapacidad en instituciones educativas regulares de San juan de Lurigancho. La metodología empleada tiene un enfoque cualitativo, se utilizó una entrevista semi estructurada, la cual exploró quién/quiénes brindan el soporte social, los tipos, la utilidad y la satisfacción del soporte social que perciben los padres y las madres. Participaron padres y madres, entre 26 y 48 años. Los resultados señalan que el soporte social proviene de las redes informales y formales de los padres y madres. Los tipos de soporte social hallados son: soporte de información, soporte emocional, apoyo material, soporte en el cuidado diario del niño y soporte de interacción social. La utilidad del soporte social es diversa: les permite contar con conocimiento y comprensión de la discapacidad de su hijo (a); tener control sus emociones en el trato y convivencia con el niño o niña; mejorar su estado de ánimo; contar con una red de apoyo y recibir apoyo económico. Por último, los participantes se sienten satisfechos con el soporte social recibido y mantienen una expectativa positiva de logro y afrontamiento respecto al futuro de sus hijos o hijas.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis study allows to know the perception of social support in fathers and mothers with sons and daughters with disabilities in regular educational institutions of San Juan de Lurigancho. The methodology used has a qualitative approach, a semi-structured interview was used, which explored who provide the social support, the types, the utility and the satisfaction of the social support that fathers and mothers perceive. Fathers and mothers, between 26 and 48 years old participated. The results indicate that social support comes from the informal and formal networks of fathers and mothers. The types of social support found are: information support, emotional support, material support, support in the child's daily care and social interaction support. The usefulness of social support is diverse: it allows them to have knowledge and understanding of their child's disability; have control of their emotions in the treatment and coexistence with the child; improve your mood; have a support network and receive financial support. Finally, participants feel satisfied with the social support received and maintain a positive expectation of achievement and coping with respect to the future of their sons or daughters.en
