Esto último se ve por medio de la psicooncología, tomando en cuenta la función de los cuidados paliativos, los cuales velan por el bienestar biopsicosocial del paciente de cáncer y su familia. Ello implica no solo la atención y tratamiento médico al paciente, sino también un apoyo psicológico al paciente y su familia para poder afrontar y sobrellevar dicha situación de enfermedad. Este trabajo propone indagar acerca de cómo los familiares de pacientes oncológicos perciben su vivencia de la enfermedad de su ser querido y cómo perciben el apoyo psicológico recibido.This investigation titled “The perception of the psychological support to the oncological patients´ relatives” This last is seen through the psychooncology keeping in mind the palliative cares, which take care of the biopsycosocial comfort of the patient with cancer and their relatives. This implies not only the medical care but the psychological support to the patient and the family to face and endure this situation.
