El viaje de las competencias comunicativas: de la lingüística a la educación

Resumen
Las competencias comunicativas llevan varios años siendo adaptadas en el campo educativo, en forma de capacidades que los estudiantes deben desarrollar. Pero la realidad es que estas competencias comunicativas presentan algunas ambigüedades, gracias a los aportes principalmente de Chomsky y Hymes desde la lingüística, apoyando o criticando este término desde los años 70. Por tal razón, este artículo busca analizar las características de las investigaciones escogidas que tienen como objeto de estudio a las competencias comunicativas. Con este objetivo, se seleccionaron 4 fuentes que se denominaron fuentes primarias y se procedió a revisar las fuentes que usaron en sus marcos teóricos. Las características que se sacaron de esa revisión y consecuente análisis tienen que ver con la fecha de publicación, género textual, idioma y autor. Se concluye que este término, acuñado efectivamente en la lingüística, primero se desarrolló desde un enfoque tanto generativista como funcional, para ser acuñado, muchas décadas después, por la educación, pero sin decisión clara sobre el enfoque escogido.
The communicative competence hasbeen adapted in the educational field for severalyears, as capacities that students must develop. Therefore, this article aimsto analyze the chosen investigations characteristics that have as matter of study the communicativecompetence. The obtained characteristics from this revision and consequent analysis are related to the publishing date, textual gender, language, and author. Itconcludesthat this term, effectively keyed in linguistic, was firstly developedboth in a generativist andfunctional approaches, as to be keyed, many decades later, by educationbutwithout a cleared decision about the approach selected.
