Resumen
Esta investigación explora el uso de la estrategia del aprendizaje colaborativo y el desarrollo de las competencias comunicativas de un grupo de estudiantes de la UARM. Este estudio básico busca investigar cómo es que se vincula la metodología del aprendizaje colaborativo y el desarrollo de las competencias comunicativas. Se contó con la participación de 22 estudiantes de pregrado, quienes realizaron tres Focus Group, una práctica de evaluación de competencias comunicativas y una rúbrica de evaluación. Además, se contó con el apoyo de la docente, a quien se le realizó dos entrevistas para explorar el desarrollo de las competencias de sus estudiantes. En base a los resultados de las pruebas aplicadas, se determinó que existe un vínculo entre el aprendizaje colaborativo y el desarrollo de las competencias comunicativas y se determinó que cuatro de las dimensiones de esta competencia lograron desarrollarse y una de ellas no y, por ello, es necesario la mejora del diseño de las estrategias en la dimensión emotiva, para que el desarrollo de las competencias comunicativas sea completo. Finalmente, es evidente que se pueden evidenciar nuevos hallazgos, así como limitaciones del uso del aprendizaje colaborativo en la Educación Superior.
This research explores the use of the collaborative learning strategy and the development of communicative skills of a group of UARM students. This basic study seeks to investigate how the methodology of collaborative learning and the development of communicative skills are linked. It was attended by 22 undergraduate students, who carried out three Focus Groups, a practice of evaluation of communicative competences and an evaluation rubric. Also, there was the support of the teacher, who was interviewed twice to explore the development of the competencies of her students. Based on the results of the applied tests, it was determined that there is a link between collaborative learning and the development of communicative skills and it was determined that four of the dimensions of this competence managed to develop and one of them did not and, therefore, it is necessary to improve the design of strategies in the emotional dimension, so that the development of communicative skills is complete. Finally, it is evident that new findings can be evidenced, as well as limitations of the use of collaborative learning in Higher Education.
