The objective of this research was to describe the experiences of burnout in psychologists who attended cases related to COVID-19. To carry out this purpose, the qualitative approach was used from the phenomenological design and exploratory scope. 5 psychologists and 2 psychologists who worked with cases of COVID-19 or related to it in State hospitals, State health centers and private consultations were interviewed. Regarding the results, three dimensions were found that allow us to understand the phenomenon: emotional exhaustion; depersonalization; and difficulties in adapting to work during the pandemic. In the investigation it was evidenced that the psychologists had burnout, but they valued their profession. Which could be understood from the feelings of discomfort and hopelessness caused in the different work environments. Added to this reality was the crisis and difficulty in adapting to work during the COVID19 pandemic in 2021 and 2021.
