Resumen
En la presente propuesta de mejora se ha evaluado la situación actual de la empresa Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde S.A.A. (SMCV), está enfocada al área de mantenimiento, la que se encarga de que la producción trabaje las 24 horas y los 365 días del año. El objetivo de esta tesis es mejorar el mantenimiento proactivo del Área Seca C2, donde se operan los equipos de chancado y fajas transportadoras. Para mantener una producción constante y darle a la planta la máxima eficiencia se necesita tener una buena disponibilidad de planta; actualmente se tiene una disponibilidad de 92.46%. Para aumentarla se tendrá que implementar el área de proactivo, mejoras y cambios, con la finalidad de disminuir las paradas de planta no programadas. En este trabajo se identifica la oportunidad de mejorar el mantenimiento proactivo, se disminuirán las fallas inesperadas de equipos, además se implementará el área de predictivo y también la adquisición de nuevos equipos de monitoreo. Esta mejora aumentaría la disponibilidad de planta en un 0.45%, lo que equivale aproximadamente a 7 millones de dólares.
The current situation of the company Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde S.A.A. (SMCV) has been evaluated in this improvement proposal. It is focused on the maintenance area, which is responsible for keeping production running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The objective of this thesis is to improve the proactive maintenance of the Dry Area C2, where the crushing equipment and conveyor belts are operated. To maintain constant production and give the plant maximum efficiency, it is necessary to have good plant availability; currently, availability is at 92.46%. To increase it, the proactive improvements and changes area will have to be implemented, in order to reduce unscheduled plant shutdowns. In this work, the opportunity to improve proactive maintenance is identified. Unexpected equipment failures will be reduced, in addition, the predictive area will be implemented and new monitoring equipment acquired. This improvement would increase plant availability by 0.45%, equivalent to approximately 7 million dollars.
