Resumen
En el contexto actual existen problemas y oportunidades que favorecen la implementación de una planta para la producción de lechuga en invernadero con sistema Nutrient Film Technique vertical; con respecto a las oportunidades, los estilos de vida actuales tienden a favorecer a la alimentación saludable. Del mismo modo, el ministerio de agricultura está impulsando el consumo de vegetales/frutas debido a que los peruanos no consumen la cantidad recomendada por la Organización Mundial de la Salud. Por otro lado, a pesar de que el sistema NFT es un sistema ampliamente difundido, utilizado, y sujeto a ligeras modificaciones presenta como principal desventaja los altos costos de inversión y operación del proceso ya que se hace necesaria la utilización de compresoras y bombas centrífugas para mantener el oxígeno disuelto en el sistema, es por ello que el presente trabajo aplica una variación del sistema NFT vertical que elimina la necesidad de compresoras y disminuye el uso de bombas, teniendo como resultado que el proyecto es viable económica y financieramente debido a los VAN positivos y las TIR mayores a las tasas del sector, además de presentar buenas tasas de retorno, en tiempo y dinero.
In the current context there are problems and opportunities that favor the implementation of a plant for the production of greenhouse lettuce with Nutrient system Film Technique vertical; with respect to opportunities, current lifestyles tend to favor healthy eating. Similarly, the Department of Agriculture is promoting the consumption of vegetables / fruits because Peruvians do not consume the amount recommended by the World Health Organization. On the other hand, although the NFT system is a widely used system , and subject to slight modifications, its main disadvantage is the high investment and operation costs of the process, since it is necessary to use compressors and centrifugal pumps to keep dissolved oxygen in the system, that is why this work applies a variation of vertical NFT system that eliminates the need for compressors and decreases the use of pumps, resulting in the project being economically and financially viable due to positive NPV and the IRR higher than the rates of the sector, in addition to presenting good rates of return, in time and money.
