Estrés laboral y estilos de afrontamiento en trabajadores de producción de una empresa de Lima Metropolitana

Resumen
La presente tesis tiene como principal eje el determinar la relación que existe entre los niveles de estrés laboral y los estilos de afrontamiento que tienen los trabajadores de producción de una empresa de Lima Metropolitana. Para el desarrollo se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño de tipo no experimental y un alcance correlacional en 96 trabajadores de producción. En el cual, se utilizaron los cuestionarios de Estrés Laboral de la Batería para la Evaluación de Factores de Riesgo Psicosocial publicada en el año 2010 por el Ministerio de la Protección Social en Colombia y el Inventario Multidimensional de Estimación del Afrontamiento COPE para identificar tanto los niveles de estrés laboral como los estilos de afrontamiento que estarían presentando los colaboradores. Los resultados obtenidos permiten concluir que la relación entre las variables presentadas es negativa y no es significativa. Adicionalmente, se encontró que aproximadamente el 50% de los trabajadores presentan altos niveles de estrés laboral y recurren de manera frecuente al estilo de afrontamiento que se enfoca en el problema. Cabe destacar que, ninguno de los participantes se identificó dentro del estilo de afrontamiento de tipo evitativo, que, según la literatura, es el estilo más inadecuado para afrontar conflictos.
The main axis of this thesis is to determine the relationship that exists between the levels of work stress and the coping styles of the production workers of a company in Metropolitan Lima. For the development, a quantitative approach was used with a non-experimental type design and a correlational scope in 96 production workers. In which, the Work Stress questionnaires of the Battery for the Evaluation of Psychosocial Risk Factors published in 2010 by the Ministry of Social Protection in Colombia and the COPE Multidimensional Coping Estimation Inventory were used to identify both levels of work stress as well as the coping styles that the collaborators would be presenting. The results obtained allow us to conclude that the relationship between the variables presented is negative and not significant. Additionally, it was found that approximately 50% of the workers present high levels of work stress and frequently resort to the coping style that focuses on the problem. It should be noted that none of the participants identified themselves within the avoidant coping style, which, according to the literature, is the most inappropriate style for dealing with conflicts.
