dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación cualitativa tiene el objetivo conocer las representaciones sociales sobre la maternidad adolescente en madres universitarias de Lima Metropolitana. Para ello, este estudio exploró las creencias y significados de las madres universitarias sobre la maternidad adolescente, buscó describir la información que han obtenido sobre la maternidad adolescente y analizó sus actitudes al respecto. Se realizaron 6 entrevistas semiestructuradas a jóvenes universitarias que fueron madres en la adolescencia. Las representaciones sociales de las adolescentes expresan que asumir su maternidad y el cuidado de sus hijos/as les significó renunciar a su adolescencia. La maternidad adolescente es concebida por las participantes como una etapa ambivalente: bonita y difícil al mismo tiempo. Esta es vista también como una motivación para cumplir sus metas. Asimismo, el asumir un doble rol de madre y estudiante al mismo tiempo ha sido un gran reto porque dejaron de enfocarse en sí mismas para cuidar a sus hijos, buscando no dejar los estudios y enfrentando la mirada de la sociedad. Las entrevistadas manifiestan haber recibido poca información sobre sexualidad y maternidad. También, reconocen que la sociedad concibe la maternidad adolescente como algo negativo, como un fracaso y un impedimento para lograr sus metas.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The objective of this qualitative research is to learn about the social representations of the teenage motherhood among university in Metropolitan Lima. To this end, this study explored the beliefs and meaning about adolescent motherhood, sought to describe the information they have obtained about adolescent and analyzed their attitudes about it. 6 semi-structured interviews were conducted with Young women in the university who were mothers in adolescence. The social representations of the adolescents express their responsibility and caring for their children as mother. The teenage motherhood is build by challenges and ambivalent stage: It is beautiful and at the same time difficult, It is also seen as a motivation to achieve their goals as a teenagers. Likewise, it is a big resposibility because they have a double role to play, being a mother and being a student, at the same time it is a great challenge because they are not able to focus on themselves to take care of their children, trying not to drop in the school and facing the reality of the society. The interviewers state that they have received little information about the sexuality and motherhood in adolescence. The society recognize the teenage motherhood something negative.
