dc.description.abstractLos estudios sobre el uso de la teoría de registros de la representación semiótica para el aprendizaje de las funciones en la educación básica y superior cuentan con al menos dos décadas de desarrollo, desde su inserción por Duval en 1995. Sin embargo, aún son escasas las investigaciones sistemáticas sobre el tema en los estudios realizados hasta la fecha. Con el propósito de llenar este vacío, el presente artículo identifica tendencias a partir de un conjunto de variables cualitativas (Idioma, antigüedad de fuentes, editoriales, géneros discursivos y tema). Para ello, se analizó cuantitativamente 43 fuentes desprendidas de 4 fuentes primarias aparecidas en los últimos doce años en América Latina. Los resultados muestran gran cantidad de conocimiento actual sobre el tema, lo cual evidencia la importancia de las representaciones semióticas en el aprendizaje de las funciones. Asimismo, estas fuentes sistematizadas evidencian una diferencia considerable entre publicaciones en castellano e inglés. Este análisis de las tendencias en los estudios de las funciones en Latinoamérica resulta de mucha importancia educativa y política para su mejora.es_ES
dc.description.abstractStudies on the use of the theory of semiotic representation registers for learning functions in basic and higher education have been developed for at least two decades since its insertion by Duval in 1995. However, systematic research on the subject is still scarce in the studies carried out to date. To fill this gap, this article identifies trends based on a set of qualitative variables (language, age of sources, editorials, discursive genres, and subject matter). To this end, 43 sources were quantitatively analyzed from 4 primary sources that have appeared in the last twelve years in Latin America. The results show that there is a great amount of current knowledge on the subject that shows the importance of semiotic representations in the learning of functions. Likewise, these systematized sources show a considerable difference between publications in Spanish and English. This analysis of the trends in the studies of functions in Latin America is of great educational and political importance for their improvement.en
