Resumen
En el Perú existen algunas líneas de ayuda que brindan consejería psicológica telefónica, pero solo una de ellas ofrece la posibilidad de entablar la relación de ayuda en quechua. En este contexto surge la figura del Consejero Bilingüe Intercultural, profesional que domina el español y quechua, capaz de acompañar emocionalmente a una persona con alguna dificultad afectiva.
El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar el Perfil del Consejero Bilingüe Intercultural, sus características sociales y culturales, su proceso de intervención y sus logros, con la finalidad de proponer un perfil para su desarrollo profesional y personal.
El estudio es de enfoque cualitativo, tipo empírico a nivel descriptivo. El estudio de caso está constituido por tres consejeros, dos mujeres y un varón, procedentes de Arequipa, Ayacucho y Cusco; siendo la edad promedio 27 años. La técnica empleada para recoger información ha sido la entrevista cualitativa.
Los resultados obtenidos apuntan a la formación académica y experiencia laboral como antecedentes importantes en el aspecto social; en el área cultural la procedencia familiar, la relación con el idioma materno y valores como el respeto y la solidaridad rematan el perfil. Así mismo se evidencia la necesidad de recibir entrenamiento para desarrollar las competencias interculturales requeridas.
In Peru, there are some help lines that provide psychological counseling by telephone, only one of them offers the possibility to establish a helping relationship in quechua. In this context arises the figure of the Multicultural Bilingual Counselor, professional fluent in spanish and quechua, capable of assist emotionally a persona with some difficulty. The aim of this study is to analyze the Profile of the Multicultural Bilingual Counselor, its social and cultural characteristics, its intervention process and its achievements, in order to propose a profile for their professional and personal development. The study is of qualitative approach, empirical type and descriptive level. The method used was case study, two women and one man, were the case. They were born in Arequipa, Ayacucho and Cusco and the average age was 27 years old. The technique used to collect information was the qualitative interview. The results obtained point to academic training and work experience are important factors in the social área; in the cultural área family origin, the relationship with the mother tongue and values such as respect and solidarity complete the profile.Likewise, the need to receive training to develop the required intercultural competencies is evident.
