Resumen
El siguiente estudio examina la propuesta de implementación de un Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SGSST) basado en la norma ISO 45001:2018 en una pequeña empresa fabricante de resinas en Lima, Perú. La investigación tiene como objetivo principal diseñar un SGSST que cumpla con los estándares internacionales y la legislación peruana vigente. El estudio utiliza una metodología de investigación de campo, con un diseño descriptivo y correlacional, involucrando a una muestra de 30 operarios de la empresa ABC SRL. Las técnicas empleadas incluyen observación directa, encuestas y entrevistas, siguiendo un diseño específico que establece las etapas clave del proyecto.
Los hallazgos principales revelan un bajo nivel de cumplimiento en materia de seguridad y salud ocupacional en la empresa, identificando múltiples riesgos y condiciones inseguras en las áreas de producción. El estudio incluye un plan integral que abarca la capacitación del personal, adquisición de equipos de protección personal (EPP), señalización adecuada y elaboración de una matriz IPER para identificar y gestionar riesgos. El análisis económico determinó un costo total de implementación de S/. 111,160.00 con beneficios estimados en S/. 115,609.67, logrando una relación beneficio-costo de 1.04.
This study examines the proposed implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) based on the ISO 45001:2018 standard in a small resin manufacturing company in Lima, Peru. The main objective of the research is to design an OHSMS that complies with international standards and Peruvian legislation. The study employs a field research methodology with a descriptive and correlational design, involving a sample of 30 operators from ABC SRL. The techniques used include direct observation, surveys, and interviews, following a specific design that outlines the project's key stages. The main findings reveal a low level of compliance in occupational health and safety within the company, identifying multiple risks and unsafe conditions in production areas. The study presents a comprehensive plan that includes employee training, acquisition of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper signage, and the development of an IPER matrix to identify and manage risks. The economic analysis determined a total implementation cost of S/. 111,160.00, with estimated benefits of S/. 115,609.67, achieving a benefit-cost ratio of 1.04.
