Resumen
Toda institución educativa debe conocer el nivel de satisfacción laboral de sus maestros, de esa manera se pueden diseñar, establecer y poner en marcha acciones destinadas a lograr el crecimiento y la mejora constante de los maestros. Asimismo, resulta fundamental conocer cuál es el nivel de sentido de vida de los maestros, puesto que ello influye en el trabajo que realizan a diario con niños y adolescentes en la escuela. Es con ese propósito que se planteó la siguiente pregunta de investigación: ¿Qué relación existe entre Satisfacción Laboral y Sentido de Vida en la plana docente de una Institución Educativa Privada? Para el recojo de la información se emplearon dos instrumentos de evaluación: un cuestionario sobre satisfacción laboral y un test sobre el sentido de la vida, los cuales fueron aplicados a una muestra de 48 docentes pertenecientes a los niveles de inicial, primaria y secundaria. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que la satisfacción laboral no es un factor determinante para el sentido de vida de los docentes, puesto que la gran mayoría de docentes de la institución educativa presentan un nivel medio de satisfacción laboral pero un nivel alto de sentido de vida.
Every educational institution must know the level of job satisfaction of its teachers, that way you can design, establish and implement actions aimed at achievingthe growth and constant improvement of teachers. Likewise, it is essential to know what the level of life of the teachers is, since this influences the work they do daily with children and adolescents in school.It is for this purpose that the following research question was asked: What is the relationship between Job Satisfaction and Sense of Life in the teaching staff of a Private Educational Institution? To collect the information, two evaluation instruments were used: a questionnaire on job satisfaction and a test on the meaning of life, which were applied to a sample of 48 teachers belonging to the initial, primary and secondary levels.The results obtained show that job satisfaction is not a determining factor for teachers' sense of life, since the vast majority of teachers in the educational institution have a medium level of job satisfaction but a high level of meaning in life.
