Sistematización de las estrategias didácticas desarrolladas para la formación de la competencia trabajo en equipo en los estudiantes del curso de estática de la Facultad de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería

Resumen
Que los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Nacional
de Ingeniería (FIC-UNI) desarrollen la competencia de trabajo en equipo se ha convertido
en algo imprescindible, no solo porque actualmente es la competencia que con mayor
frecuencia es solicitada por los empleadores, o porque es una de las trece competencias que
la FIC-UNI se comprometió a formar entre sus estudiantes por estar acreditada por la
Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET); sino, porque así formamos
en nuestros estudiantes habilidades que los harán mejores profesionales y personas.
En ese propósito, el docente de la FIC-UNI asume un rol trascendente, puesto que
deberá innovar su curso, planteando e implementando estrategias didácticas, en función de
su iniciativa y capacidad de reflexión. Por ello, a manera de ejemplo, el presente trabajo
tiene como objetivo describir cómo contribuyen las estrategias didácticas implementadas en
el curso de Estática de la FIC-UNI a la formación de la competencia de trabajo en equipo
en los estudiantes.
En ese sentido, la presente investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo, asumiendo
el paradigma interpretativo. Por lo que se empleó la sistematización de experiencia ya que
nos permite, a partir de la propia práctica, descubrir por qué ocurren ciertos hechos y llevar
una práctica empírica a un nivel teórico conceptual. Asimismo, se usó la técnica de grupos
focales en los estudiantes y entrevistas de preguntas abiertas a los egresados que llevaron el
curso de Estática, para así conocer los resultados de su experiencia como alumnos del
curso. Además, se entrevistó a los otros tres docentes que también desarrollan el curso de
Estática en la FIC-UNI para conocer sus apreciaciones sobre la formación de competencias.
Finalmente, el desarrollo del presente trabajo permitió reconocer las actividades
que favorecen la formación de la competencia trabajo en equipo entre los estudiantes, desde
su diseño, organización y ejecución.
That students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the National University of Engineering (FIC-UNI) develop the competence of teamwork has become essential, not only because it is currently the competition that is most often requested by employers, or because it is one of the thirteen competences that the FIC-UNI undertook to train among its students for being accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET); but, because this way we form in our students skills that will make them better professionals and people. In this purpose, the teacher of the FIC-UNI assumes a transcendent role, since it must innovate its course, proposing and implementing didactic strategies, based on its initiative and capacity for reflection. Therefore, as an example, this work aims to describe how the teaching strategies implemented in the course of Static FIC-UNI contribute to the formation of teamwork competence in students. In this sense, the present research has a qualitative approach, assuming the interpretive paradigm. So, the systematization of experience was used since it allows us, from the practice itself, to discover why certain events occur and to take an empirical practice to a conceptual theoretical level. Likewise, the technique of focal groups was used in the students and interviews of open questions to the graduates who took the Static course, in order to know the results of their experience as students of the course. In addition, the other three teachers who also develop the Static course at the FIC-UNI were interviewed to find out their opinions on the training of competences. Finally, the development of the present work allowed recognizing the activities that favor the formation of team work competence among students, from its design, organization and execution.
