Estudio correlacional entre motivación, hábitos de estudio y rendimiento académico en estudiantes universitarios de la facultad de ingeniería ambiental de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería

Resumen
La presente investigación tiene por propósito determinar la relación que existe entre las variables rendimiento académico, motivación y hábitos de estudio en los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería Ambiental de la UNI.
Se parte de estudiar la problemática actual de los estudiantes de la UNI, y en particular de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería Ambiental como estudiantes muy talentosos en matemáticas, pero con un insuficiente desarrollo de las llamadas competencias blandas como la motivación y los hábitos de estudio, lo que podría estar relacionado con un bajo rendimiento académico.
La importancia del presente estudio radica en que permitirá esclarecer algunos de los factores que podrían estar relacionados con el rendimiento académico.
Se plantea la investigación como una investigación cuantitativa utilizando un diseño no experimenta, transeccional y correlacional.
Se ha considerado tomar una población conformada por estudiantes de la Facultad Ingeniería Ambiental con una muestra de 250 estudiantes.
Los resultados de la investigación muestran una correlaciónsignificativa entre rendimiento académico y hábitos de estudio, (ρ < 0.01); sin embargo, no se halló una relación significativa entre rendimiento y motivación.
Teaching at all levels of education is criticized because of low student achievement. It is not very different in the blended mode, since, lacking a direct and frequent link with the teacher, they lose confidence in their professional capacity. The present research was carried out to know and analyze the perception that the students have about the performance of their teachers at a private university in the country. The descriptive-comparative method was used, the infor- mation was collected through the survey technique with a questionnaire composed of fourteen questions divided into three dimensions: content management, classroom climate management and didactic capacity. The instrument used was based on the Likert scale. A population of 177 first cycle students was used, of which a sample of 27 was taken, of which 14 were women and 13 men. While it was taken the universe of teachers, who were 14, in the cycle 2016-3 that took place from May 8 to June 24, 2016. The results indicated that about 78% of the students sur- veyed reported, for all the items, to agree and totally agree on the performance of their teachers. This leads to the conclusion that the performance is optimal on the part of the 14 professionals evaluated, from the perspective of the students. But it is also concluded that the weakness of the teachers is in the didactic capacity that they use in the blended modality.
