Based on the research findings the results shows that, for interviewers, the inconvenient between the belief doctors/patient relationships begin within the health system framework. On the other hand, communication is an important tool to consider in doctors/patient relationships, since it is based on empathy, trust and the ability to listen. According to the results, this last aspect is extremely important in order to: educate the parents with managing his/her son’s illness avoid searching online information or unprofessional opinions, which usually generates more confusion. Therefore, it seems that the pediatrician’s vocation of service and his self-esteem influence directly in this relationship. In conclusion, beliefs between doctors/patient relationships specifically in pediatricians from Lima Metropolitan region are varied and unstructured, while they make it clear that the professional knowledge and subjectivity of the pediatrician are contrasted when practicing medical work.
